This Cookie Policy (“Policy”) explains what cookies are, what is stored on your device when you visit innie.com (“Website”) or use the Innie mobile application (“App”), and why. This Policy also covers similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage and software development kits (SDKs).
This Cookie Policy does not address how we handle your personal data generally. To learn more about that, please see our Privacy Policy.
1What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are sent to or accessed from your web browser or your device’s memory. A cookie typically contains the name of the domain from which it originated, a “lifetime” (how long it persists), and a randomly generated unique identifier.
Browsers also offer similar storage, called local storage and session storage. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; local storage stays until you clear it.
2What We Use on the Website
The Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not set cookies of our own. We use your browser’s storage only to remember small display preferences, and our network provider may set a security cookie:
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| Preferences | We use local and session storage to remember whether you have already seen the Website’s intro animation, so it does not replay on every visit. Nothing in it identifies you and it is never sent to us. |
| Security | Our network provider may set a cookie to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic and protect the Website from malicious activity. |
3Third-Party Services
Cloudflare: Cloudflare may set a security cookie to identify trusted web traffic and protect the Website from malicious activity. It is not used for advertising or to track you across websites.
RevenueCat (App only): The App uses RevenueCat’s SDK to process and manage in-app subscriptions. It receives information about your purchases and subscription status together with an app user identifier. It does not place cookies on the Website. You can learn more at revenuecat.com/privacy.
We do not permit these service providers to collect your personal data for their own independent purposes.
4How to Manage Cookies and Storage
Most browsers let you block cookies and clear stored site data through their settings. Clearing it is safe: the Website will simply play its intro again.
Here is how to manage cookies and site data in common browsers:
5Everything We Store
This is the complete list of what the Website stores in your browser:
| Name | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| innie:intro | Preferences: you have seen the intro animation | Local storage, first-party |
| innie:met | Preferences: Innie has already said hello | Local storage, first-party |
| innie:said | Preferences: lines Innie already said in this tab | Session storage, first-party |
| __cf_bm | Security (Cloudflare) | Cookie, third-party |
